Samsung has announced the availability of the new Samsung Messager (SCH-R450) handset for Cricket network, featuring a sleek horizontal slider-design and QWERTY keyboard. Samsung Messager is a simple dual-band CDMA phone and is the third Samsung for Cricket and the first to offer a full QWERTY keyboard.

It has a 2.1-inch 260k color display, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, integrated media player, Voice Recognition and Bluetooth connectivity. The Messager is more than a phone that plays music. It has a rich user interface that makes this a serious music player. And with the microSDslot, you can store all the music you like.


Other specs include a 1.3 megapixel camera, 2.1-inch 176X220 pixels screen, stereo Bluetooth support, speakerphone, “Advanced Voice Recognition,” and a microSD memory expansion slot. As for the pre-installed apps, aside from the standard mobile apps (calculator, calendar, contacts, etc), the Messager comes pre-loaded with music player, IM and email client. Size wise, it measures 4.4×2.0×0.7 inches.

The phone will also support T-Mobile’s MyFaves service, based on the branding seen on the phone. Specs wise, the Supernova flip phone boasts a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash, FM radio, QVGA screen, microSD memory card slot, and a hidden external screen that makes the device really stand out.

Frank Vium, Vice President of Nokia, said that”Nokia’s wide range of devices includes several that add fashion to function and allow consumers to choose the best device that expresses their personality. With the unique style of the Nokia 7510, users are allowed to express themselves with colors and external display.” No details about the pricing nor availability are provided.

This phone comes with a 3.3 by 1.7 by 0.6 inches (HWD) and an amazingly light 2.3 ounces. On the front of the phone there’s a little easy-to-read 96-by-32-pixel black-and-white display that shows the time or caller ID information.

It also features a bright internal color display and an LED flashlight with a dedicated button on the front. It has a handy external display with caller ID so you can see who’s calling while the phone is closed. Designed with quad-band CDMA (800/1700/1900/2100MHz) support and a monochrome external display, this stylish little clamshell is light on the features. A speakerphone and a dedicated flashlight, which works even when the phone is powered off, are both handy features that the 1606 does offer.


The Nokia 1606 also features speaker-independent voice dialing and a built-in calendar and calculator. Users can attach voice recordings to calendar notes, or use them as alarm clock tones, which makes it an interesting tool. The Nokia 1606 is now available with in either Sand Gold or Black color variations.

The phone runs on symbian S60 Os. It has got a 4GB of memory card that can store upto 3000 music tracks. Its memory can be expanded up to 16Gb by a microSD memory card. The phone supports all mainstream audio/video formats.
